The winning team Old Marlingtontonians collect their trophys from the Widden Sevens tournament of 1971/1972.


This photograph has been dated from the period 1946 to 1948, although the exact date has not yet been confirmed.


Our thanks to Bryan Leech for the above photographs, Bryan's father captained Widden and is shown in the photo above, Bryan's fathered sadly has passed away and Bryan now lives in Canada, however he met our Club President Henry Haw in Rome while they were there on holiday and discovered the link while talking to each other !!
The above photo was taken when Widden knocked Coney Hill out of the NGC cup semi final in 1987/1988.
