For Widden Old Boys to achieve the next stage of its club development, league status, and to ensure our successful youth section runs well, we need all the funds we can raise.

Our commercial package has been structured to business and individuals alike. We have advertising, sponsorship and other fundraising opportunities to suit any budget. Sponsorship funds are directed primarily to:
• The improvement of each of our 16 teams, at all age groups.
• The development of rugby throughout our community, at all age groups.
• Other club-based enhancements and improvements.






Programme Sponsorship
 

At every league match this season our senior 1st XV will have a programme produced.

Your advert will appear in this colour programme for every game of the season.

Perimeter & Pitchside Advertising
 

Pitch side perimeter advertising at sporting stadiums is firmly established as one of highest profile cost effective mediums available to promote your companies products or services. Here at Widden Old Boys RFC, each season we estimate there will be 165 home games per season, this equates to around 2500 visiting players, this excludes their supporters, parents and coaching staff.

Therefore your regional viewing audience is vast and varied, both in age and demographics, giving your message the best opportunity to be seen and thereby your product or service promoted to our fans, their family’s and friends, who traditionally support, the clubs partners and sponsors.

Our Pitch side perimeter opportunities consist of:

By sponsoring the Widden senior coaching staff you are covering the costs of all staff to wear the appropriate all weather training and match day kit.

Your Company Name will appear on all their kit, of all Managers & Coaches. This sponsorship will be acknowledged in all 1st XV match-day programmes and on this website with hyperlinks through to your website, if required.

Their kit package will include;
Tracksuit Bottoms, Polo Shirt, T-Shirt, Jacket and a fleece.

Junior Coaching Staff/Managers/Physio Sponsorship
 

By sponsoring Widdens junior section coaching staff you are covering the costs of all coaching staff to wear the appropriate all weather training top.

Player Sponsorship
 

By sponsoring a Widden senior player you are effectively supporting the payment of their membership fees, travelling expenses, plus playing and training kit. Your support to both the player and the club then helps attract further professionally minded players to Widden, which then supports our plans and progress on the field of play.

In recognition of your sponsorship, your name or company details will be accredited next to your chosen player’s details in our match day programme, as well as on the clubs website.

The complete package of features and benefits will include:
• Your own or company name in the match day programme.
• Accreditation of your sponsorship on the Widden website
• Autographed photograph together with a personal letter of thanks from your player for your support

Match Day Sponsorship
 

Corporate hospitality and entertainment at sporting events has become established as one of the key marketing and business promotional tools, used by companies worldwide. The opportunity to spend quality time away from the office, with your customers, or clients in a relaxed social environment, with an exciting game of rugby thrown in.

Widden Old Boys pride ourselves on providing you with just such an opportunity. From your arrival to departure, we will ensure that your day will be something special for both you and your guests to remember.

Based on a minimum of 10 guests your day will consist of:

• Personal greeting from our President or Chairman of the club
• Buffet and drinks for the host and guests
• Match programme for each guest
• Your company logo will be on the front page of each match programme.
• Your company logo and welcome note will be projected onto our large screen.
• Presentation of a framed Widden Rugby shirt, commemorative of your sponsorship.

Donations
 

Sometimes individuals or organisations would prefer to donate funds for general or specific use rather than a commercial advertising or sponsorship option. By making a one-off or regular donation enables Widden Old Boys to plan ahead.

You can decide what the money can be used for;

• Senior Rugby development
• Junior Rugby development
• Club House Development
You can donate to The General Development Fund and allow the Club Officers to decide the best use for the money that you donate.
